Trend Alert: Fringe

Fringe continues for fall 2015-2016… and with that said, out I am planning to bring my vintage Kenneth Cole, suede, ankle wrap fringe shoes with a classic heel. So happy these will be resurrected and added to compliment skirts, crop pants and the rest of what is great for fall 2015. Along with my vintage Kenneth Cole’s, the Grecian feel of my gold fringe and bead Michael Kors stilettos will also be added to the rotation of shoes. The extra swing it adds to stilettos makes any strut powerful. These beautiful shoes just add a heighten bit of glamour to anything I pair them with.

My vintage Kenneth Cole's -- love these timeless French Heel shoes!
As the season progress I will allow myself to possibly indulge in one of Rebecca Minkoff’s great fringe bags (if you haven’t seen them yet, keep scrolling). Minkoff offers an array of options to take part in the fringe movement and I for one think another piece of fringe in my wardrobe will be a welcome addition. Check out some of the great pieces I've spotted online below.

This black fringe bucket bag by Rebecca Minkoff available here is on my own wish list.

My Michael Kors heels are another example of this style.

So, while the fringe dips in and out of the mainstream of trends, it is my opinion that “fringe” is much like the “leopard print”--classic. Think of classic fringe leather jackets, or the fringe streamers on the ends of bicycle and motorcycle handle bars. No, fringe isn’t just important today, it adds a bit of “classic” flair to anything you attach it to, be it jackets, purses, shoes or yes motorcycles. Fringe is always in style in my opinion.

Swarovski's Slake Bracelet

The Slake Bracelet by Swarovski is so beautiful!  I just purchased one for a friend for her birthday and another for myself. Yes, I like the one for you and one for me idea. The bracelet double-wraps around your wrist and is made of  scored micro-fiber that creates the effect of multiple bracelets. The Slake bracelet is available in an array of band colors and each is made with clear or matching crystal and an adjustable crystal snap closure.  This versatile piece is my new favorite bracelet! I find myself reaching for it day in and day out.
From left to right: Black, Turquoise, Fuchsia, Blue

Whether worn with formal, business, or casual dress the bracelet, with its iridescent shimmer, adds a touch of glamour to any outfit.  Many may like to stack it with their other favorite bracelets, but the piece is so strong and exciting that I feel that the bracelet is a statement all of it's own.  Swarovski's Slake bracelet commands the attention it so deserves!

I love looking down at the bracelet enjoying the sparkle, which makes me smile. I also love that this piece can be paired with so many different outfits. Add that extra sparkle to your wardrobe with a Slake Swarovski Bracelet and wait for the compliments… they are sure to come.

Mansur Gavriel: The Bag to Carry

While scoping out new pieces online earlier this year, I was captivated by (what else) a bag. Months later i am still seriously considering adding one of Mansur Gavriel's bucket bags to my ever growing collection.  Mansur Gavriel, a design label based in New York City, has their products finely made in Italy.  The bag is so simple yet elegant. The leather so subtle -- like I said, seriously considering.

The bucket bag in all of its glory (black w/Flamma on far right).
It is available in an array of colors outside with contrasting colors inside.  The fabrications including canvas and vegetable tanned leather.  The classic black w/Flamma interior is my personal favorite.  It makes me think Christian Louboutin black pump and branded red bottoms.  The bag is one to carry from day to night, toting you personal items never look so good.

At the moment many colors are sold out but restocking is slated for August.  I will stay tuned and be sure to snap my bag in the next available shipment...now make it a point to explore this luxurious and of the moment bag available on their site.

The Mansur Gabriel Bucket Bag is a must have!

To Nude Nail or Not To Nude Nail

A quick update for my second post on Mabelle Styles! Further proof that the nude nail is truly a classic -- the look has been sampled repeatedly this season on runways by the likes of Michael Kors and Stella McCartney. In the fast-paced environment we often find ourselves in, we have little time to maintain our "polish".  Constantly on our phones, laptops and constantly clicking, our manicures can really take a beating.  Nude is resilient in it's delivery, a little scuff on the nail, will not cause an interruption to your polished look.

Well, trend or not I have been sporting the nude iridescent nail polish for well over a decade…my favorite color brands include OPI, Essie, and Zoya (just to name a few). The nude short nail is a “polished”, clean, and classic look -- a style evoking “sheer” sophistication without the fuss.

Wanting to take part in this low maintenance yet fabulous look yourself? Check out some of the colors below which make the list of some of my personal favorites!

So do you nude nail or choose not to nude nail?

The Go-to Vegan Crossbody

A few months ago I was out and about in downtown Bethlehem, PA and found my way into The Shoppe at The Historic Hotel Bethlehem.  The Shoppe is filled with a host of delightful fashion accessories, clothing, and Home décor gift items.

My personal favorite item in the Shoppe is the vegan convertible clutch/cross-body/wristlet bag. Vegan never looked so good!  The multi-functional bag is available in an array of colors, beautiful faux ostrich texture, woven patterns and the option to personalize the bag with your monogram… all those options makes this bag a must have! The bag is also available in the 2015-pantone color "Marsala."

A look at a few gorgeous colors and textures.
A beautiful monogrammed version of this bag.
