Trend Alert: Fringe

Fringe continues for fall 2015-2016… and with that said, out I am planning to bring my vintage Kenneth Cole, suede, ankle wrap fringe shoes with a classic heel. So happy these will be resurrected and added to compliment skirts, crop pants and the rest of what is great for fall 2015. Along with my vintage Kenneth Cole’s, the Grecian feel of my gold fringe and bead Michael Kors stilettos will also be added to the rotation of shoes. The extra swing it adds to stilettos makes any strut powerful. These beautiful shoes just add a heighten bit of glamour to anything I pair them with.

My vintage Kenneth Cole's -- love these timeless French Heel shoes!
As the season progress I will allow myself to possibly indulge in one of Rebecca Minkoff’s great fringe bags (if you haven’t seen them yet, keep scrolling). Minkoff offers an array of options to take part in the fringe movement and I for one think another piece of fringe in my wardrobe will be a welcome addition. Check out some of the great pieces I've spotted online below.

This black fringe bucket bag by Rebecca Minkoff available here is on my own wish list.

My Michael Kors heels are another example of this style.

So, while the fringe dips in and out of the mainstream of trends, it is my opinion that “fringe” is much like the “leopard print”--classic. Think of classic fringe leather jackets, or the fringe streamers on the ends of bicycle and motorcycle handle bars. No, fringe isn’t just important today, it adds a bit of “classic” flair to anything you attach it to, be it jackets, purses, shoes or yes motorcycles. Fringe is always in style in my opinion.

As ever,
